as the day grows dim, I hear you sing a golden hymn.

So I'm watching Goosebumps right now. Haha. This boy just said, "left-handers rule!" So not true. Omg a young Kevin Zegers is on this show?

Anyway, the weather has turned, and it's freezing. I have yet to get my winter coats from my aunt's house, and my only closed-toe shoes are my Toms. Cool. No, cold. I'm tempted to see how long I last living like this.

Lately iTunes Genius has really been pulling through with making me some playlists. This is usually not the case. I'm kind of overwhelmed by so much great music that I've recently resurrected, and Genius has just been making my life easier. Let me give you an example.

This one was based after Casimir Pulaski Day:
1. Sufjan Stevens: Casimir Pulski Day
2. Iron & Wine: Love and Some Verses
3. The Shins: Kissing the Lipless
4. The Arcade Fire: Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)
5. Andrew Bird: Fake Palindromes (new favorite song)
6. Bon Iver: Flume
7. Fleet Foxes: White Winter Hymnal
8. Sufjan Stevens: Chicago
9. Stars: Your Ex-Lover Is Dead
10. Bright Eyes: First Day Of My Life
11. Wilco: Jesus, Etc.
12. The Postal Service: The District Sleeps Alone
13. The Arcade Fire: Neon Bible
14. Bon Iver: Skinny Love
15. Sufjan Stevens: Jacksonville
16. Iron & Wine: Naked As We Came
17. The Shins: Saint Simon
18. Andrew Bird: Heretics
19. Death Cab: Passenger Seat
20. Bright Eyes: Lua
21. Wilco: Heavy Metal Drummer
22. The Arcade Fire: Neighborhood #2 (Laika)
23. Bon Iver: Lump Sum
24. Sufjan Stevens: To Be Alone With You
25. The Postal Service: Clark Gable

Last night, Ash, Katie, Alicia, and I had the amazing idea to continue our game of Catchphrase on the BC bus to Cleveland Circle. Jealous? Everyone wanted to be a part of it. And by everyone, I mean one girl who thought it was great. But this is going to start being a regular occurrence, so if you're lucky enough, maybe you'll be part of the party one day. Speaking of Catchphrase, guess what I'm being for Halloween? You guessed it. A giant Catchphrase machine.

This past weekend I visited Meagan at Furman! So fun. At one point, we were discussing making lists of all the artists/bands we've seen in concert, and it was then that I remembered that... I saw Meat Loaf in 8th grade. I wish I were joking.

On that note, I'm out.

Let me leave you with an excerpt from one of the greatest books of our time, A Lovely Love Story:

I will forgive his peculiarity and his concern for things, thought the Lovely Other Dinosaur. For they are part of what makes him a richly charactered individual.

I will forgive her skipping mind and her fondness for shopping, thought the Dinosaur. For she fills our life with beautiful thoughts and wonderful surprises. Besides, I am not unkeen on shopping either.

Now the Dinosaur and the Lovely Other Dinosaur are old. Look at them.

Together they stand on the hill telling each other stories and feeling the warmth of the sun on their backs.

And that, my friends, is how it is with love. Let us all be Dinosaurs and Lovely Other Dinosaurs together.

For the sun is warm, and the world is a beautiful place.

what a curious life we have found here tonight, there is music that sounds from the street...

Oh hey. Looks like my ambitious "I'm going to start blogging again" didn't last very long. Here we are, another 9 months later. I know what you're thinking--I could be a mother of 4 now, and you would just now be finding out. Maybes I am, maybes I'm not. Katie and her wonderful blog, spazzle.net, inspired me to start up again. We'll see how long it lasts...

The year is off to a great start... I'm in 90 with 7 great roommates. Most of my classes are boooring, but whatevs. My bro, Nick, is a freshman here, so that's exciting! I also have a brother-in-law now. He's my BIL. And on October 9th I'm going down to Greenville, SC to visit my best! Hey girl, love ya. I'm gonna take pictures of her and the Chi-Os and Pi-Kapps all weekend. They're gonna start paying me probs.

Katie and I are sitting by our great bay window, being dorks, listening to Death Cab and blogging. She tends to write about really deep emotions, while I kind of rant about things that no one really wants to read... I have great respect for her and her mind.

Oh hey, no big, I'm continuing this post a week later in Pathophysiology. I have serious issues with writing blog entries now.

Watch this cool video my dad sent me... BC's mentioned!

So, I'm an intern with Calling All Crows this fall. It's this non-profit that Chad Urmston and his partner Sybil Gallagher started about a year ago. Their mission is to inspire public service and end violence against women through mobilizing musicians and their fans. So, naturally, it goes hand-in-hand with State Radio. It's pretty great. You should probably donate $20 to buy a stove for a woman in Sudan.

Oh man, my professor just dropped that one of her younger sisters died from a common fungal infection she caught in a hospital... sad.

Alright, I guess I'm done.

See ya!

"Huddle... Watch this. Reverse psychology."
"Come close........ CRRIIIIIIIPPPPPPPSSSSSS."
